How it Works

Recycleopedia search is a simple way for residents to work out which bin to recycle each part of an item.

The recycling search tool helps your residents to work out what goes in each collection in the simplest way possible.

Users simply type the item they want to recycle into the search box on the app or embedded on your website – or scan a barcode via the app.

It then searches through our unique database of over 16,000 products – broken down into component parts…

…and tells them which kerbside collection bin to put each part of their item into. Even if it can’t be recycled at home, we’ll point them to their nearest local recycling location, charity shop or collection point.
